Talent Acquisition Intern

Arlington, VA

BridgePhase is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist who can support a wide variety of recruiting activities. This position will support our recruiting initiatives and impacts the growth of the organization. This position plays an important part in helping to ensure the recruiting activities at BridgePhase will run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will have an exceptional attention to detail, be proactive, and be excited to work as part of a collaborative team.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop recruiting strategies to source specific technical resources in the federal contracting space
  • Create social media posts for team to share on LinkedIn, and other platforms; Sourcing passive candidates through multiple approaches
  • Utilize a variety of cost-efficient sourcing techniques to recruit high quality candidates
  • Maintain communication throughout selection process by posting accurate and compliant job descriptions, scheduling timely interviews, and providing status updates throughout the process
  • Posting jobs, utilizing creative sourcing techniques and maintain current knowledge of emerging technology
  • Build a live talent pipeline for difficult to fill positions and frequently needed roles
  • Provide research and analysis on recruiting best practices, technical markets and diversity initiatives
  • Establish recruiting relationships with colleges and diversity organizations in the area and participate in related events
  • Support the Recruiting function by planning, coordinating, and participating in hiring and networking events internally and externally
  • Involvement in contingent recruiting for proposals; Format resumes as necessary
  • Track and maintain all job opportunities in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and well as external job boards
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Manager in advancing all candidate movement within our ATS; Ensure OFCCP, AAP, and EEO compliance.
  • Initiate background screens and act as liaison between the vendor, candidate and hiring manager.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
 
  • Minimum of 0-3 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with applicant tracking systems preferred
  • Strong research and data mining skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team
  • Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and complete tasks and projects within deadlines and budgets
  • Demonstrated excellent judgement, discretion and sensitivity; ability to work with confidential information
  • React with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong computer skills, to include Office 365 applications
  • Prior experience supporting a federal contracting organization desired
  • Experience sourcing Technical IT related positions desired
